Lowell broke into acting with the movie Dangerously Close followed by a small role in the Robin Williams movie Club Paradise. [4] She went on to roles that included co-starring as Bond girl Pam Bouvier in the James Bond film Licence to Kill (1989) and, from 1996 onwards as the Assistant District Attorney Jamie Ross for two seasons in the drama television series Law & Order, a character she reprised in the year 2005 as a guest star in the spinoff series, Law & Order: Trial by Jury, and again on the original series in 2022, when it was relaunched for a 21st-season. Prior to taking on the role she was frustrated in her acting career. She was accepted into New York University's documentary filmmaking course. [4] She quit acting around the year 2000. Lowell gave her voice and her likeness to Lowell, while she reprised her Licence to Kill character in 007 Legends. In 2018, she appeared on television, and was an actor on the show Blue Bloods.
