Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan (born 10 May 1981) is an Australian actress and model. The first time she was known, she was Pepper Steiger in Australia. This role she played during the 100 episodes of soap show Neighbors which aired from 2006 to 2007 established her as an international sensation in Australia. She arrived in Hollywood through two separate projects. First, the choral comedy Hollywood & Wine where she played an actress who was who was a newcomer to Hollywood. Then by landing a recurring role in the ninth season of Scrubs which portrayed Maya an extremely sexy medical student. As a result, the entire series abruptly ends. Then she continued to film a Farrelly Brothers comedy Good to Shoot, starring the duo Jason Sudeikis Owen Wilson. Then she appeared in B-series films as well as series shorts. 2013 was the year she had the opportunity to take on more challenging assignments. She was featured in six episodes in the series detective Franklin and Bash, and later, she got her first appearance as a regular character in the web series Chosen with Milo Ventimiglia. The show also has Chad Michael Murray's replacement for the series' first two seasons.
